As the Engines will not be so frequently worked as on an ordinary Steam Vessel, especial care is to be taken in the arrangement of the Boilers and Machinery that every part may be easily accessible, so that no difficulty may be found in preserving them in an efficient state." "The Boilers need not of necessity be below the water line."
